Just back from 2 nights at Higher Melcombe. Nicky’s super welcoming vibe made it feel like home, and the breakfasts were a treat with plenty of options. The room was comfortable, though a bit dated, but that didn't take away from the beautiful surroundings.

For a unique experience, ask about pony rides for kids. it's a delightful highlight for families.

Rooms could benefit from a modern refresh!!! Lack of in-room TV may not suit everyone!!! Shared bathrooms require additional comfort items like dressing gowns!!!

Cozy stay in the countryside!

We had an amazing two weeks surrounded by nature and lovely hosts. Nicky and Simon made every breakfast a treat, and their little pets added extra charm. We particularly loved the outdoor dining area for dinner under the stars. Just wish there were more activities for the kids to do during the day.
